SOUTH AFRICA: Incredible First Safari With Limcroma Safaris

Africa is addicting to say the least. Sounds like a great first safari and you have some very nice trophies. Nice pics. Congrats. Bruce

Ross, that was a great report. Sharing that hunt with your "bride" is something both of you will remember for a lifetime.

Great report! Great trophies! Reading about your time at Limcroma brought back fond memories of our own first safari last year.

Also nice seeing more US hunters bringing their suppressors along. I was a bit nervous before our trip, but didn't run into any issues and really appreciated not needing to wear hearing protection the whole time.

I had the same nervousness about it, but it was no problem whatsoever. No one ever requested to see my form 4, trust, or anything..

Thanks for the report, enjoyed

I'm sitting by the fire with Henno right now while reading your report :) .. he's been our PH this week.. great guy, and he and our tracker have gone above and beyond every moment we have been here so far...

Additional Limcroma hunt report to follow in a few weeks after we get back stateside :)

Tell Henno that Dan said to get back to work!... ;) We are very much looking forward to your report!

Very cool, although I'm a little jealous y'all get to hunt while I'm slaving at work! Yes he's a stand up guy for sure.

That's one thing I meant to mention in my report, Hannes and the team does an excellent job of assigning PHs to clients with similar personalities. We're both pretty laid back & reserved kind of guys. Worked out really well.

Sweet! I'm jealous to say the least. I'm 13 months away from the same fire, in the same place. So, you can certainly count me in for your report! Looking forward to it....

Congrats for a great hunt, very nice trophies, specially that mamba

Congratulations on an awesome trip to Limcroma with your bride!

Ross, sounds like you had a terrific safari and I have no doubt that you will be planning a return and collect a few more of Africa's unique animals.

Well done !
Waiting for the second trip is no easier than the first .
Infact I think its harder .
Really enjoyed reading your report .
Cheers Dory :D Beers:

Great report and great pics!
I'm 82 days away from my first African Hunt, with Limcroma
Can't wait to experience it !

Congrats on your successful trip and thank you for the excellent report! What's on the list for the next trip? (y)

Thanks!

We'll start with the wrapping up the springbok slam in the Free State then head to the Limpopo. Pigs and primates will be a priority for my wife along with all the night critters, and hopefully we'll work on the spiral horns, nyala and bushbuck. And another zebra for a rug

The eland will have to wait for trip #3 one day, when I bring the .375 along for buffalo... But that's a ways down the road.

What a dream. Great recap!

Congrats on your hunt! You took some fine trophies!

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
