This is a 7 day hunt for a 30lb Elephant in South Africa.

Area: The hunt will take place in the limpopo province.

The price for this hunt is $43 900.00 all inclusive for 1 hunter hunting a 30lbs elephant
Add a Buffalo for $11 400

This is probably one of the best untouched hunting concessions in South Africa and it promise to be the hunt of a lifetime. The reason we shoot only 30lbs elephants is because of the management system. The bigger boys are left to spread the genes

The hunt include:

• Accommodation in the hunting area
• All meals and drinks
• Laundry service
• Field preparation of trophies
• Services of licensed PH, Skinner and trackers
• Concession fee, government licence fee and hunting permit
• Transport to and from hunting area and OR thambo international airport
• 14% Government tax on daily rates

Excluded in package:

• Taxidermy cost
• Air fare
• Additional accommodation before and after the safari
• Gratuities / Tips to staff and Professional Hunter
  
• Hunting alternative game on other concessions

Extra days can be added @ $330
Observers @ $150 per day

Plains game can also be hunted after the elephant is down at our normal price list

Bossie, I will make it to hunt elephant one day. I'm not sure how and when but I'd sure like to believe it's out there in the future for me. I never thought I'd have made it the first time much less take a buff and a lion. It will come, I think I just have to be patient which is certainly not one of my strong suits.

How do you limit the ivory size to 40lb? Judging is tricky. If, say, I shoot a 46 pounder, how is this handled?

@chrisd it is difficult yes, we do have avery small margin of allowance but people have abused this in the past!! There is a reserve representative present on the hunt and he and the ph must both agree on the size before the elephant can be shot!! If there is any doubt the aninal would be left and the hunt continue for a animal in the size limmits!! Hope this makes sence?

Sure is a great offer especially since you can export them from S.A.

I don't know if Elephant is marketable anymore especially with the ban on importing to the USA from Zim . I have 3 Bulls left on my quota that I tried to sell at SCI for $ 18 000 all inclusive regardless of size ( No size limit ) and I could not sell them . In hind sight it may have been better to the European shows possibly there I would have had better luck. There was a fair amount of interest for 2017 but it all depended on the ban ....

I may offer these bulls for $16 K later on this year if I don't move them in the next few months .
