NYT Article on the negative impact of the ban of trophy hunting

I finally read an article in a major publication to reflect the impact to the animals and the villages. Seems well written and on point. Maybe if enough villagers protest, Botswana will alter course and re-introduce hunting.

It shines a bright light on the mindset and lack of African conservation knowledge of the anti-hunting community.

I am literally gobsmacked. There is absolutely no way to have a rational African conservation discussion with somebody who would post that.
