Transfer thru Joberg....

Savvy advice that is why I'm using PHASA. I will be met by a rep and keep moving. Last trip was lone wolf as well learned a few things along the way

He better net get on the plane to Windhoek Johnnyblues .
He wants to go to Port Elizabeth .
Now that would be a stuff up .
Lol. Long day. Have him going to where I'm landing. Don't listen to me ...lol

This last May was my first time through Joberg and then to Port Elizabeth and I used a agent for the permits and transfer, I would highly recommend for you to do it also if you are a first timer or even a savey traveler thorough Joburg.

If you use a agent they will meet you right at the plane and whisk you right through all the lines and they will have your pre apporved permits with them. The agents that I used also met me on my return flight from PE at Joberg after I had picked up my rifle and suitcase and wisked me back through where I needed to go and left me at the security checkpoint. I did pay extra for a meet and greet and it was a great experience with no problems at all.
I'm curious who did you use?

Hey guy's kind of a silly question I guess. As most of you know ( since I ve been ranting for months) I am going to Africa for the first time in September, I will land in Joberg on SAA and transfer to Windhoek on SAA. Do I just continue on into the next terminal (B) after I land or do I need to clear Immigration/Customs? i am probably one of the few here that didnt book with Lori so I kinda felt funny calling and asking. Thanks
I too, am traveling to SA in Sept. and then on to Windhoek. Where re you flying from? Where are you hunting? My first time too

Nice, I am leaving JFK on the 16th, arriving in Windehok on the 17th. Hunting Ozondjahe Safaris also North of Windehok. Hunting plains game for my first time to Africa. Good luck and enjoy. I will be writing a complete hunt report when I am done.

Oh great. Your hunting with Jerome's outfit. Should be awesome. I tried to book a leopard hunt with him but he had nothing available. Looking forward to your report

Is this rifle sold? If not what is the weight of it and do you know if there is enough difference in diameter between the 35W and the 9.3 to allow for a rebore to a 9.3x62 which is what I am after?
Thanks,
Gary (Just down the road in Springfield)

Forgive me if this is the incorrect area, I signed up to this forum just now because I wanted to be on the list to purchase a copy of your autobiography. Please feel free to pass my information along to whomever is selling. Thank you so much. I look forward to it!
I like the Tillie in my picture. They are supposed to fit loose (2 fingers inside hat band), have mesh for cooling, and hold their shape after washing.
