2 Weeks and 5 Days to go for Safari

OK so I've been counting down since I came back from last safari two years ago. Have everything packed except back pack and rifle. Shot a number of live rounds from the .375 and thousands of rounds with the snap cap off sticks.

This will be my second trip with Africa Maximum Safaris, last time in Zim for Cape Buffalo, Waterbuck, Kudu, Impala, Blue Wildebeest and Zebra. This trip will be in South Africa for non trophy Elephant, Lioness and plains game. My wife is excited to go back as well (not as excited as me)

I will be hunting again with PH Walla Albertse. Had a great time with Walla last time and took some nice animals including the buffalo in my avatar. Difference in this and last trip is KNOW how much fun I'm going to have!

They say you should not wish your life away, however I do wish I was leaving tomorrow!

I know what you mean, Ridge Top. I leave in 11 days for my second safari to RSA, with Drom at Somerby Safaris. Main quarry will be buff, then maybe waterbuck, zebra, bushpig, etc. if time permits. I have fired several boxes through my 375 and practiced hours with snap caps. Don't want to just piss off the buff! Good luck on your safari.
