I don't recall specifically because I wasn't looking for them, but I did notice generally speaking that they had a pretty good amount of pistol primers in stock (also at 10% off at the moment).

Another source that seems to be pretty good locally as of late is the Academy store at Hwy 75 and 380 in McKinney. I've picked up a handful of 100-count sleeves of both CCI LR and LRM primers in the last couple months; and again, I seem to recall that they had a pretty decent stock of pistol primers at the time.

They still had a lot of the Rem 9 1/2 LR magnum primers today at 2:00. They may be out of just LR on sale. There were lots of small rifle/small pistol primer at 10% off. I didn't notice the price on CCI particularly, but I seem to remember something like 69$

thank you both!

I was in Dallas this past sunday for an opera and forgot to stop at Scheels.. driving into Dallas I only have two things on my mind and that is when can I leave? and how fast can I drive away from this place without getting pulled over?

Midsouth has:
  • CCI BR-2 Large Rifle Bench Rest Primers
  • CCI BR-4 Small Rifle Bench Rest Primers
both 5000/$250 shipped, including Hazmat (You might need to buy $299 to get Hazmat - that's unclear, but I ordered one of each and I paid no shipping or Hazmat)

Area419 has a cyber Monday sale on their Zero Press, extra turrets, their die rings, and a variety of other accessories. I looked all weekend and there were no deals, but they appeared today for Cyber Monday only.

This stuff never goes on sale.

They have their powder funnels on sale too, picking up one for myself. My brother got one and it pretty much never bridges powder even with the largest of kernels like N570 and 24n41. Not sure if they’ve ever been on sale before or not I only found out about their company around January of this year.

area419 sent me an email this morning saying that their cyber sales are still running. The Zero press is on sale for its lowest price ever. ($1200, $200 off of its typical price)

These presses are wonderful, although they have a few limitations to work around. They don't prime cartridges, but a RCBS die for $40 can be installed for priming. They also do not support oversized shell holders, so you do have to shop around for a few standard shellholders that will fit the huge Nitro cases. It has plenty of throw for all super jumbo NE cases, but there are some cartridges such as 577NE and larger that are incompatible due to no existence of a standard shellholder.

They sell turrets that support 1-1/4" dies as well, which are required for things like 450#2 and a few other giant cartridges.

Cheapest that I have seen in a while

No free hazmat, though, like some Black Friday deals

I’m unsure if they ship powder/primers but the shop I get the majority of my reloading supplies from has them for $10 less. I feel fortunate they are only a reasonable drive away. Most other primers in stock for fair (at today’s standards) prices as well.

True, for pick up, but to ship to my place is $ 52 so may come equal.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
