There is a reason that we do not sell or share 100% of our capabilities with our NATO allies or even our closest friends.

That is also why our closest friends are always spying on us to get that percentage that we hold back.

Even if everything above actually happened, we are not going to expose all the tools we have available to even NATO allies

The general public doesn’t normally know our capabilities for 20 years after it’s exists. (maybe shorter these days.)

There’s always leakage following similar patterns. First rumors, then maybe actual sightings. If there is a visible physical thing to be seen Then the unauthorized books start.

Judge in Ryan Roth case seals classified information stating “disclosure could cause serious damage or exceptionally grave damages to the national security of the United States “.

The only two reasons that come to my mind is if the United States or a foreign actor were involved. It will be interesting to see how the trial plays out.

With all due respect, I believe he was fired for the inconsistencies between preliminary and final reports that has become a problem lately.

Huge problem, agreed. This actually was a big deal in terms of Powell's direction in terms of rate cuts. I don't like Powell but the labor market has been one of his biggest data points.

The retro revisions are a big deal. Hassett claimed "don't shoot the messenger." However, when you are responsible for verifying the data for accuracy, screw it up, and have to revise it for months prior...that's bad.

10 yr has tumbled the last week. Housing market is getting crushed and no one is talking about it. The 30 yr mortgages have come down from 6.80% to 6.55% in a week.

I think a rate decrease has to happen in September. We might see the 10 yr at 4% by year end and 30 yr mortgages at 6%.

How about some early morning FBI raids on Obama's and Hillary's homes?

Most important details of that DOJ referral is that the prosecution will not be in New York or DC.

I didn’t see a location mentioned but with Quinones confirmed as USA for SDFL this weekend followed by this announcement today one might be able to read between the lines.

This article scratches the surface of Danish undersea knowledge. They have been one of the world leaders in deep water diving and other undersea technology for decades. Often surpassing the US capabilities in some areas. Just not at the scale of the U.S.

Thanks for sharing. I didn`t know this.

Sometimes it is to your advantage to show the other side a few of your cards... and sometimes its to your advantage to feed them disinformation embedded in those shown cards...

Having the Russians go back and "fix" problems that are being revealed to the Western world, NATO, etc.. will cost them both time and money that then wont be spent pursuing their efforts in Ukraine..

And who knows what else they know and havent revealed.. or what they say they know that they really dont know much about at all, etc.. or how much they know that they have shared with others that have the ability to take advantage of vulnerabilities that they cant take advantage of that they havent revealed, etc..

What they have done in this case is pushed the Russians into a position where they have to question the quality of their counter intel capabilities... question the quality of the security of their nuke sub fleet (not just the actual boats, but the security of their systems, structures, ports of call, etc) as they try to figure out how Ukraine penetrated them.. and they have to question the quality and loyalty of every single person assigned to their sub fleet...

Nuke ballistic missile subs are a threat to Ukraine... but they may lack the capability to take advantage of the vulnerabilities they have found..

So.. instead they have used those vulnerabilities to another advantage..

This is one of many examples of the US and Russia exaggerations or secrets. Sometimes both in the same story.

Did the US really salvage K129 ? Did they really
Lose half of it. Or did they get it all and lie about getting the whole thing.

The same with the Kursk and many other stories of sub incidents. Did the Kursk sink on its own internal calamity or ?

UK letting two Colonels and possible MI6 officer get captured in Ukraine doesn’t seem very smart. Why have your offices on a beach less than five miles from Russia controlled land instead of inland.

Comer subpoenas the Clintons and DOJ records over the Epstein investigation

Saw that too. House investigations run by Republicans tend to be grandstand events instead of meaningful.

Biden laptop
Benghazi
IRS targeting Republicans
Fast and Furious.

Russia gate run by Nunes was the only one meaningful and we are finding out much of it got squelched by the CIA and held back and not presented to the public till last week.

The financial report of the United States Government for FY’24 has been released.

The Government Accountability Office’s (our top accounting watchdog) for the tenth year in a row absolved itself of responsibility for accurate accounting, as it admits that government agencies did/can/will not offer transparency in their own budgets for audit by the GAO and any bookkeeping submitted to its office are vague, misleading and unreliable.

The meat of their report is found on page 215 (pdf).

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
