Gents,

I'm selling my Browning FN Mauser chambered in 30-06. This is a 1963 model (pre salt wood) and is a shooter. 22 inch barrel. Blueing is nice. Rifling is crisp and trigger has nice clean break. The wood stock has some handling marks and finish scratches. The finish has some chipping around the sling swivels. Everything is sound, solid and ready for many more seasons of use. Happy to chat with anyone about it and send any additional pictures you might want to see. $1100 to your FFL.

Great rifle, and seems very fairly priced. I have a 1960 version of this rifle, and it was my first "real" deer rifle. As a semi-collector of Safari Grades, I would suggest maybe posting a picture that shows the condition of the bottom metal and engraving. Bolt face and chamber would be good as well. GLWS!

Very nice, and I wish mine was this clean and in this good of condition (but at least it has sentimental value). :-). Again, GLWS and should move pretty guickly.

Shocked nobody has at least made a solid offer on it as these were some great shooting rifles! I have the twin to it and it has the Oregon 4 peat on it, Muley, Blacktail, Elk and Bear. Its long retired but thinking of using it for Elk again this year since this came up! Good luck with this and hopefully someone jumps on it as its a dandy! Season is upon us!

I came to this thread to tag you and you are already here

Great gun for someone's kid ... to use for a lifetime. I'm still killing big game with the 30-06 Dad gave me sixty years ago. A little work (very little) and this beauty could look new.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
