I have an original 318 Westley Richards Accelerated Express action with complete bolt, no idea if it is the original bolt. Includes a steel housed Timney trigger and the installed Timney wing safety. Also included is a magazine spring and a follower. I do have a military trigger guard with floor plate and all 4 screws that I will add also. It is NOT drilled and tapped for scope mount bases. I do not have any brass, bullets or reloading dies for this caliber but all of it is available via the internet. I know because I looked.

A 375 H&H round fits inside the bottom of the action was little room to spare.

I have no idea what will be involved in sending it overseas from the USA.

If you’re looking for an authentic Wesley Richards 318 action to built the real thing, here’s your action.

$1000 plus shipping, etc.

I have also requested the letter and copy of the WR ledger for this action. It will be included also.

Welcome. Nothing quite like having something to sell the first day you join. Maybe the original bolt had a Timney wing safety? A lot of 318s had extractors on the bolt. Good luck with the sale,

The action for sale is #37972. I have a 1908 WR318 rifle #37173 and a 1912 WR425 with serial #39359. Both my rifle production dates were confirmed by WR . Consequently I’d estimate the action for sale would be from circa 1909/10. Looking at the bolt handle - higher end bolts had water buffalo horn fitted around the bolt knob . So it was likely a plain / base WR rifle or it is a replacement bolt .

I decided to keep this action and build a rifle with it. I’m a southpaw so it will go up for sale once completed. It will be either 35 Whelen or 9.3x62.

If you’re going to sell once completed, make it a 318!
Of course, building a proper 318 is no small order but building a 35W or 9.3 on this action makes zero sense.

Ok, ok, I relent! I am on the hunt for a .318 WR barrel in the authentic length (27-28”). Any sources of supply would be greatly appreciated!

My take down 318 WR I believe had a factory original 25" barrel with the tip back night sight on the front and a standing and two folding sights in a rear island.

The bigger issue with your action above is that you don't have the original bolt. You're going to need to do a bit of work to get a bolt fitted and tuned to the unmatched action.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts
