Is it me or is there a name engraved into the wood near the wrist? That's a bit of a turn off, if so, but at that price point....

Who knows, maybe that name will make it more valuable in the future, depending what the individual achieves in life

I bet you a dime something nefarious went on with that deal. Cabela’s/ Bass Pro seem to have “deals” listed from time to time that are “sold” immediately upon listing. Then again, I can stand to lose a dime.

I dont know how much trouble there is with an import from Spain to the US but this seems like a very nice price for a Heym 88B in .470 Nitro Express. 3900 euros seems like a bargain.

Since it is the PH-model it is completly devoid of engraving, but still a quality rifle from a good maker.

If I had not allready made up my mind about not owning a double rifle again I would probably bought it myself.
