We need to cull the following animals in 2014

Well, you either cull a animal or thin the numbers, all depends on the hunt. There is only so much you can so with the skins, it helps to know someone that can do something with them. The horns would be nice but shipping and preparation add a lot to the cost. You could do Euro mounts.

Pictures are very good sometimes.

Just looked up the word CULL, and going from this reply...On a cull hunt, I can bring home trophies, but I wouldn't be going after the big monsters that you repeat guys get to brag about? That wouldn't be a bad thing IMO. Not too many at home would know the difference from a culled mount vs a big trophy.

Forgive my newness. I was under the impression that a cull is just to thin the herd, but I read this as thinning the herd, AND bringing home skins. Am I mistaken?

Hallo ArmyGrunt
When we cull animals we take out animals with broken horns, old female, old worn down males normally non trophy animals, well what to us is non trophies for you it can be a trophy animal, but it is not just about these animals but also about the numbers, we did cull a number of animals in my bow area only, also it is all about the food and the rain we had in the area, in the beginning of the year it was very dry in my area and we do not feed the animlas so we need to cull some female and to keep the numbers in place. With the last hunter he took a very old Black wildebeest bull now for him it is a very nice trophy and he did take it along as well as a few other, i remember a very very big eland cow, some very nice blesbuck. At the end of the day you pay for the cull animal and i will only chuck the skins and horns away so it you want to take it why not.

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
