For sale a great condition pre 64 Winchester standard model 70 in 30-06 made in 1948. I had work performed on it by pre64win who also checked the rifle for any issues. This work included re-barreling from 270 with a better condition period barrel, action blueprint, stock pillar bedding re-bluing and adding Tally 30mm rings. The rifle now shoots well under MOA with a variety of factory ammunition. I am asking $2400 shipped to COUNS, scope not included.

Not listed elsewhere. If you have any questions please let me know.

Very nice with a lot more class than almost anything made in the last 50 years. That gun needs to get out and make some memories.

Lots of wonderful memories with that same setup as a young man chasing mulies. Love the look

Very nice. Who is COUNS and where is the rifle being shipped from??

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.
