Hi I am looking for a cull/trophy hunt for my dad and I. We live in Scotland. I am 23 and he is 58. I doing a lot of shooting ie foxes, deer and shotgun sports. My dad has only ever shot one deer in his life. But is no to bad with a shotgun.
We are looking for a couple of trophies.
Looking to go hunting for about a week.
Wondering if anyone could recommend an outfitter.
Thanks
Alan

What is your budget for after airline costs?

Welcome to the forum, Alan, I m sure you ll get good offers from the outfitters in the forum.

Alan,

That should get you a great hunt with some good cull shooting. What time of year would you prefer?

Summer until winter. I have a very busy spring due to being a farmer

I have a budget of 7000.

i presume thats sterling? your flights if you book far enough ahead will be in the region of ï½£1,800.00 total for both of you, aberdeen to heathrow then joburgh return that leaves approx in us dollars $7600.00. i am sure you will be able to sort a hunt for that on here no probs.

Look in the offers section. Cull packages and also add ons by several different outfitters.
Good luck.

My spring months are from march until June. I can't do these because of work. I would love to take a kudu bull. Think they are stunning. Don't know what else to take.

My dad has just call he is not wanting to go anymore. Mother must have talked him out off it.
Getting the trophies back to the uk is the problem for me. It is going to cost a fair wee bit of cash.
Don't no weather to scrap the cull and just go for 3 or 4 trophies or just go out for a cull
Cheers Alan

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
