WTB 9.3x62

Field Ethos has collaborated with Sauer on a rifle in 9.3 called the Exception that is super slick looking. Right around 2500-3000 in cost. I've been pondering one for myself. I think it would look sweet with one of Leica's new glossy scopes on it. I forget which model its built on, whether its the 100 or 101 etc.

Anyone have more experience with the Sauer line of rifles?

I had a Sauer 100 in 9.3x62. Mine had very accurate barrel and nice factory trigger. Unfortunately, about half the time when firing. The recoil impulse would flex the rifle (factory wood stock) and the cheap plastic magazine would fall out of the gun. I got rid of it after Blaser group in TX “repaired” it. Just lost all confidence with it.

Id be hopeful maybe this field ethos collaboration Sauer 100 has some upgrades including the stock? Because it does have a higher price point than just standard Sauer 100.

Hopefully you are paying for upgrades to the rifle system and not just paying for the FE logo on the bottom “metal” and a nice red pad haha.

Rifle looks good though. Maybe I just had a lemon.
