I just heard a public service message on the radio from the WI Department of Natural Resources. They wanted to take the opportunity to warn “outdoor enthusiasts” not wear red, blue, black, or brown while on outdoor excursions because they could be mistaken for a turkey by a hunter during this spring season.

:Bored: Seriously?!

Do you suppose that’s a real problem out there? Good Lord!!

So you’ve been warned...no more wearing that red tie with your blue hoodie up on your head with brown and black jacket over it while walking those park trails...you could be shot!!

Wow!!!!!! I'm telling you, we are breeding stupidity. Why do we need to put warning labels on everything? Is our current human generation that stupid???
Sh*t, we rode our bikes without helmets, drank out of a garden house, share a drink, played outside, rode in the back without seatbelts, and a bunch of other stuff, and here we are.

I know the only thing I saw that was red, blue, black, and brown this weekend was the turkey that the MIL whacked! I suppose if enough of the loonies from Madison feel unsafe, Evers needs to get the message out. Shaking my head at this one... Nothing should surprise us anymore I suppose however.

It’s pretty common to hear warnings about not wearing red, white, or blue among turkey hunters. Especially if hunting on public land.

There are a lot of dumb people out there who don’t double check when they shoot.

I stand corrected. Apparently there are those calling themselves hunters out there that aren’t sure of their target and beyond. Hence the warning.
Hunters get enough bad rap without asking for it. Geez!

My issue is using the term "accident" to describe it, shooting at an unidentifiable target is reckless negligence.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts
