Why Elephants Are Dying In Botswana

The cause of death is very important, but it will not alter the fact that the habitat is being damaged by too many elephant............I have seen that. It may help determine where we are on the degradation time line............FWB

Looking at the colour of the water, I wonder if a blue-green algae bloom may have a role.

ps. Ironic that a spoonerism interchanging the B & h in Homosapien Bunny-huggeris is also perfectly describes those types.

Not only is the cause of death important but also what is going to happen to the carcasses... 50 000 elephant carcasses are going to open the whole system up to other devastating things such anthrax which will destroy many other species....

At the moment we are working on a project next to the Botswana border in Zimbabwe. The amount of elephant is unbelievable! 40lbs are common with a few 60lb in area. Destruction to environment is unbelievable!

Here's the target for the NorthForks - 25yds off a bag, iron sights. Hunting leopards over dogs the range won't be more than that.

Flew in an airshow in Smyrna years ago, beautiful country.

Best regards,
