What did you get yourself for Christmas?

I bought the 2200 day pack to be attached to my K4 ExoMtn packframe. I already had the 3600 & 7200 for extreme trips- the 2200 is great for day trips which is the most of my hunting anymore.

I’m always a dog lover. You are going to have a great time with a smart happy puppy
Yes i do not want to live without a dog mine is stupid & is 12 years old but he is my constant companion. He knows when i get the car keys & beats me to the car, if we go to the vet i have to lift him out of the car may be he is not as stupid as i think.

Australia's gun owners got screwed for xmas by the low life turd woke communist, federal Gov prime Minister a lying cheating brainless fool.
Analese, Penny Pong, Tony Burqa & Snake Chalmer are truly disgraceful. We (law abiding gun owners) have been vilified again.

The UN MUST be dismantled, this is where this rot originates from....and its global folks

On a lighter note I got myself 2x RMR's one for the UGEX 9.3 and one for the Hubel Express

My beautiful wife very strongly feels the spirit of Christmas, and this year she took it to a new level. I have been gifted an immense AmEx bill. I don’t think she knows how much I spent on my recent Transylvania bear and chamois hunt, but I do believe that there is some formula that is followed by hunter’s wives that multiplies whatever we spend in the field. I am planning a hunt to Spain for Ibex, mouflon, and boar, and have been looking at optics that would be good for the mountains, and also atop a 5.56 DMR that I just built for competitive shooting. I saw that @EuroOptic had a like new demo of a Nightforce ATACR 4-20x50 F1 mil-reticle at 20% off, and could not resist.

Cheap bullet mold for muzzleloader but most importantly a RT ticket for July. Maybe a smooch from the rugrat at the airport :):)

A very clean and new to me Belgian Made BAR in 30-06.

I envy you guys buying rifles and shotguns. All I got was a Baerskin Hoodie for me and my wife, as well as a new 4,500psi compressor for my air rifle's carbon fiber tanks.

You will be planning again before you leave.
100% spot on...

The first safari my wife and I booked was a pretty big hunt... we figured it was a bucket list item that we were checking off, so we might as well go big and stay longer than we thought we needed, take more animals than we thought we needed, etc.. and just enjoy the experience for as long as we could..

we were literally planning the next hunt within 3 days of arriving on the first one..

and have been back every single year since with the exception of 2020 when most of the world decided to shut down due to COVID..

Nothing. The older I get the fewer material items I find myself wanting. Books and music excluded. Health, an uncluttered life and experiences are my greatest desires as time goes by.

Zinz, in no way is that meant as a slight toward you or any who post to this thread. Just where I’m at after a couple lousy years of surviving and not living life. I hope all here have a very blessed Christmas.
Yes, so true. By far the most important gifts to self are intangible. It’s hard to wait until my July trip to see “my girls”. The youngest rugrat is always so excited, waiting at airport to give a smooch :)

I purchased a dehydrator designed to help me make biltong…I hope to figure it out quickly!!

I forgot I did get something special for Christmas not really a high dollar thing and I shared it with everyone at Christmas supper.
A good old fashioned pineapple upside cake.
The lady that runs our local sole food restaurant.
I got her to make my wife’s bday cake a red velvet.
It was a grate old fashioned stile one.
I have not had a pineapple upside down cake since my aunt died back in 08 she made one every year.

And honestly it was as good as my aunts or possibly better.
It sure brought back memories

Hello,

I saw your post selling left hand rifles. Do you have any additional pics of the .416 Rem mag?

Thank you.
