Well boys, what's your temperature like now?

16" heavy, wet snow on the ground here, another possible 15" on the way through Friday night. Haven't had this with one storm here since 2006.

We've only suffered about 7" so far out east of the Springs. Still snowing, and possibly see another 12" out here. Fortunately, this is still under the 20-24" they were projecting yesterday. Plus, the wind died down, so this snow actually fell out of the sky instead of flying sideways like it was yesterday.

Got up this morning and as I walked into the kitchen to start the coffee pot I glanced at the outside temperature. 0 this was at 630 MST. When I went out at 830 to scrape the wind blown snow off of my driveway we had climbed all the way up to a balmy 3 degrees.

Currently 6° and in the middle of a blizzard back home in North Dakota.

Dillingham (SW) Alaska: single digits recent mornings, clear and calm. Light snow has been on the ground for a while. Frankly, it's a bit cold for this time of year, but the winter forecast - thanks to La Nina - is for a colder than normal winter, with ample snowfall. Perhaps this is the tip of the spear? If that happens, it should be a joyous winter season for travel. I'll have a winter moose tag and I have a caribou tag, so I'm all for cold and snowy.

This is from my house yesterday.

Still warm and muggy here in South Georgia. Expecting our first real cool down this weekend. Lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

One man's low is another man's t-shirt and shorts weather.

I kid you not: even as it is now I see kids from the HS walk to the store for lunch wearing shorts and Crocs.

Only 16F here this morning with no frost. Almost T shirt weather. LOL

98.6. Same as yesterday, hopefully same tomorrow. I've been waiting weeks for someone to say that. I guess no one else has my sense of humor.
Actually 60 degrees high, lows upper 30's .Finally a bit of fall weather. Looking forward to opening day of deer gun season saturday with my grandsons.

Windy as all heck here in Southern IL. 27 mph gusts aren't exactly tree stand weather. Finally cooling down though, just in time for gun season.

The wife and I sat in a similar swing there in 2022… magical place! Enjoy!

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
