I am not shy in asking a stupid question...is it 2 boxes?

No worries, yes it is 2 boxes, filled with live ammunition
Is each box “full” live ammo? If so, are all shells Plastic and do they correctly match the box?
Yes each box is filled with live ammo, they are all plastic shells and they are all matching

Here are some pictures sorry I should have had these in the ad.

I will be at the Cabelas in Allen tomorrow

It kills me that boxes I remember buying are now vintage!

They look great would be awesome as part of a display.
I had them up on display on an older rifle display that got sold. In my opinion the older box designs had tons more character and design, along with most things from decades past

Yep…..I guess seeing those boxes and remember buying those and the ones before that were paper hulls, before the plastic makes me kinda vintage also…

I have a lucky paper shell I keep on my desk. Only one I have ever come across. I am on the younger side and paper shells were long gone by the time I was born so its cool to have a piece of history right here

Nothing like the smell of paper hulls on a damp morning. Especially in they are purple 16 gauge.

Yep, I remember buying Dove and Quail for $2.00 a box.
$1.79/box from JC Penneys in the mid 1970s. Of course, according to the US Inflation online calculator, that would be about $10,64/box in todays' dollars. So, prices from the past are all relative given inflation.

@Russ16 ——MY thoughts exactly !! If I can recall buying those boxes & hunting with those shells….then they “Ain’t Vintage” (Not to Me). Gotta at least be a cardboard shell and even better is some Art Work on the Box: Painted Mallard etc..

Shur Shots 3 1/4 - 1 1/8 #6s were all we used back in the day for pheasants rabbits, squirrels, and grouse. Great all around shell. I don't remember the red ones. By my time they were green.

bump will trade for 22 mag ammo

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
