Hello folks I’ve got a unique opportunity for someone wanting to fill their freezer with some very good healthy meat.
We have 1 bull yak available. He’s got a gorgeous coat and very large horns. He weighs about 800/900 lbs and will have a very nice meat yield on him.
2 day 3 night package. He needs to be hunted as soon as possible so first come first serve.

Included: Guides, meals, lodging, alcohol in moderation, fishing, feral pig hunting as time permits, sporting clays (54c/clay), skinning, quartering, trophy prep

Not included: pre/post trip expenses, Texas hunting license ($48 out of state), taxidermy, meat processing, tips, rifle rental/ammo, standard stuff.

Day fees: 625/day = $1250
Trophy fee: $3250
Deposit: $1500 to book

Per day extras
Extra hunting days $625
Extra fishing days $300
Non hunting observers $200

Rentals
Rifle rental $50
Ammo: big bore 6.50/round
Mid/small bore 3.25/round

Wow Eric. The food alone is worth most of the rates. Good looking animal! Whoever does this will have a good time!

Sounds intriguing. What does Yak taste like? And in what part of Texas is this?
Just tastes like lean beef. It’s very good. The ranch is outside of Turkey Tx.

There’s a place in manitou springs in Colorado where everything on the menu is yak… I ate there twice while I was there a few weeks ago… had a burger one meal and a steak the other…

The flavor was very beef like (if no one had told me it wasn’t beef, I wouldn’t have known the difference at all)…
