I am looking at Business Class air fare from Houston to Dar Es Salaam in September. Hunting with Adam Clements Safari Trackers in the Moyowosi. Fares on Turkish are $3000 cheaper than Qatar or Emirates... that's a trophy fee or tip money. Only drawback is a two hour layover in Istanbul which is kinda tight. Anyone done this recently and have any advice? Cheers!

I have done that route several times. Turkish is excellent as is their lounge in Istanbul. You should have no problems.
Emirates and Qatar are outstanding, but Turkish is right behind them.

We recently flew Business Class from Denver to Istanbul then a 2 hour 15 minute connection to Entebbe. Flight was great and connection time was fine. The only issue we had was checking the guns in Denver, the staff was all new and didn't know how to check them or their own airline's rules regarding them. That being said, I would definitely fly them again, especially for that price difference!

I have flown business with Turkish to Istanbul. Had a fantastic experience with them.

Second best airline I have flown on after Emirates.

Highly recommend them.

Turkish is a good option for hunters. I would use a TA and get it booked!

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
