Dear Client
I just want to bring the following under your attention:
A couple of weeks ago we had a visit from the green scorpions. With their visit several trophies were confiscated
because it was not handed in with the legal hunting documentation.
For me to run a taxidermy I have to comply with the regulations of nature conservation and veterinary regulations.
Nature conservation require that when I take a trophy in it must be accompanied by the legal hunting
documentation. Department of Veterinary require that trophies handed in must be accompanied by the
legal transport permit. Please make sure that you have all the necessary documentation before you leave the
farm.
In future I will unfortunately not accept any trophies without these documents accompanying the trophies. I
ask for your co-operation in this matter.

Please take note:
I will be out of office from 12 October and I will only be back on 24 October. For any urgent matter
please contact me before this date to make arrangements.

Vriendelike Groete/ Kind Regards
Lestie Cloete

This is 100 % correct. There were quite a few inspections or raids if you want to call it that. It is imperitive that us as oufitters do make sure all the paperwork are in order when trophies are transported or hunted. On the other hand it is alsontrue that we sometimes deal with incompetant people that gets authority without knowing left from right ! I am sure this will be resolved though !

were these your trophies?

OH BOY, someone's not going to happy about this? It's always the paperwork!!! And the fact that people are lazy and don't follow through with commitment and honor.

I do hope that this is a general letter to his clients and that your trophy's are all doing well...

Have you received any additional information regarding your trophy's?

Hell no, mine are all home.
I just feel for the guys who did not have their paperwork in order.
Make sure its there!

Mine are all safely on the wall.

My other hunting partners trophies have just arrived last week. (Ubombo via Safari Cargo) All look good and the packing is great.

The last hunter in our party is still waiting for his trophies, (a different taxidermist and shipping company)
British Airways refused to allow his trophies on the plane. Some crap about pigs.
Mine went through, other buddies went the same route.

I am starting to think it is political amongst the various shipping companies.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
