Thanks to our far away friends in South Africa! Wildfires in Canada have been devastating this year. We appreciate any and all help!

AND thanks to good friend and neighbour the USA who have sent hundreds of firefighters - as usual :-)

"It" is hundreds of fires over many thousands of square kilometres, from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. Dry hot weather has made things worse. We appreciate the help, but the crews cannot keep up. Only rain will make an end to most of the fires.

And then came the rains . . . in Alberta at least. Now, areas which were under wildfire evacuation orders are under flooding evacuation orders . . .

Personally, I think it's Biden and Trudeau . . . ;)

Rain was welcome but quite localized in Alberta, West of Edmonton. Helped a lot there, but more fires are burning further North and East. My son has been transferred to Alberta and is coordinating firefighting just E of Grand Prairie. He is directing crews from USA and Australia as part of that effort. He said everything North and East of his location is still much too dry, and lots is on fire.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ
