T T Proctor

Did you buy the 375 recently At Holts ? Only asking as my 7x57 is one serial number away from that one. I was seriously considering buying it but I’m a leftie and I reckon that if I need a quick, fast reload with a 375 it should be left handed. It would make a marvellous African pair.
No I didn't buy it... I have had my .375 Proctor since 2020 and bought it from a dealer and added the .458 Lott in 2023. Both are excellent and shoot accurately. I have hunted Cape Buffalo, warthog and kudu with the .375 but have not blooded the Lott yet. This is set to change this summer one way or another. I was talking with a very knowledgeable friend of Trevor Proctor not that long ago. This gentleman hunted with him on several occasions in Zambia and is still in touch with him - he emigrated to Greece. He owned a beautiful .600 double rifle and a .500 Jeffrey by TT Proctor and they are both stunners and left handed!! Where about is your rifle numerically with the serial numbers, mine are 090 and 131? I'm pretty sure Lancasters rifle predates both of mine.

Indeed, my TT Proctor .375's serial number is 069

I like the rounded bottom of the Silvers Pad so it won’t snag on clothing coming up in a hurry.
What does it weigh ?

Here's the target for the NorthForks - 25yds off a bag, iron sights. Hunting leopards over dogs the range won't be more than that.

Flew in an airshow in Smyrna years ago, beautiful country.

Best regards,

Franco
