I’m seriously considering picking up the Staccato Model C (full grip) and pairing it with a Trijicon red dot. I’ve watched numerous reviews and YouTube videos, and the feedback appears to be mostly positive so far.

Does anyone here own or regularly shoot one?
I’d love to hear real-world feedback — how it shoots, reliability, magazines, carry comfort, optic setup, anything you’ve liked or disliked, etc.

Any insights from actual owners would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Going through the same decision now. As am fui and you may know, stacatto has discontinued the C and CS. I am looking at the HD P3.6 packages as I loved shooting prior models.

May be a good time to get a decent price on those models, however the iseage of glock mags, firing pin block, and grip dimensions of the new HD series decided it for me.

@TTundra - Not sure I'm following everything. What's fui?
I'm aware that C and CS models are discontinued. The price out the door for everything I mentioned is $3500. This has a straight trigger and a full-size grip.

Not a huge discount, but then I live in TX, and it's a Stacatto.

My apologies, typing on my phone. Should have said, "as an fyi". That said, you can't really go wrong.
I did have a few guys tell me to shoot some of the BUL's before I make my decision.

I have a C, a c with optics, a CS with optics, a C2 and a C squared both with optics

I also own pretty much one of everything in every caliber that STI has ever made including the STACATTO’s. I even have an STI made AR 15 and the John Wick gun

They are reliable and accurate

The triggers are the main reason to buy one

I would recommend a holosun EPS carry. I have at least a dozen of them and use them on pistols and lever actions

If you carry a pistol with a red dot a lot, the lens collects dust and lint like crazy. If you buy an EPS carry the fully enclosed emitter eliminates that issue.

The enclosed emitter eliminates concerns about Dusty lenses or water Droplets on the lens screwing up your site picture

I sent my C and CS to magna Port. Wasn’t actually necessary, but it did make it that much better.

Appreciate the thoughts.
Are you referring to this optic? → Holosun EPS Carry Red MRS -https://holosun.com/products/pistol-sights/eps/eps-carry-red-mrs.html ?

The store I’m buying from has a Holsun mounted on their Staccato XC, and I absolutely fell in love with that setup. Since this is my first Staccato, I want to start with the Model C and slowly move up as needed.

I initially picked a Trijicon mainly because I prefer not to buy items made in China. Nothing against it — just a personal comfort/quality preference, especially for optics. They also had Aimpoint (made in Switzerland), but they didn’t have the base plate available for it.
Are you happy with your Holosun EPS Carry?

Would love to hear your thoughts, because based on your recommendation, I may just go with it.

Thanks!

Yes - that is the sight

You can buy your staccato from Dawson Precision (in Texas). You wont be limited to what the local store has in stock and can get whichever Staccato you want.. I highly, highly recommend them - have been doing business with them for over 25 years. I believe they will mount any sight you buy from them. They are the largest Staccato dealer. They will ship to your FFL.

I have literally dozens of Holosun's and have never had an issue with any of them.

I am particularly fond of the EPS Carry for a carry gun and the larger EPS for stuff like lever actions or AR's

If you will carry this gun, do get a enclosed emitter sight, whichever brand you go with - otherwise every time you pick it up to put it on, you will blow on the sight to knock the dust and lint off of it. I have a large collection of carry guns and I have changed a number of them from other sights to the EPS carry.

Even if you don't plan on carrying it, I would still recommend the EPS carry since you will end up cleaning the lenses so much less plus if it is raining, water on the lens wont disable you.

Thanks for your response. I might switch from the Trijicon and go with EPS will also save me a few extra $

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
