Enjoying SCI in Nashville, figured I'd start a photo thread.

Overall, layout has been great. Traffic is not too crazy, which really allows for better conversations with outfitters.

Also, carpeted floors are great- something DSC should consider!

We only saw about 1/3 of the show today, so will keep posting as we make our way through.

Here's a cool photo of us speaking with Herrn Herbert Strasser, designer of the Strasser R14 modular rifle system. This rifle is sweet! Essentially a Blaser R8 with multiple upgrades to make it even better. I forgot to take pictures of the rifle- will post more tomorrow. They're offering a 20% off show special and we're considering ordering a 2-barrel set.

Please do post a photo of the R14. I’ll plan to go look at it in person on Saturday. Do you think it is better than an R8? Note: I’m all in with the R8 so no changes for this guy. (P.S. never go to SCI or DSC if you don’t want to buy anything…)
My son is coming with me, it will be his first show. We are excited!

I've got a Blaser R8 Professional Success with 300WM and 375HH barrels. I think the R14 might be better. The key components are metal instead of plastic- trigger, magazine, etc. You don't need a separate wrench to change barrels. You can adjust the trigger weight in the field without tools (3x options) or push the trigger forward and now you have a set trigger.

I'm going back tomorrow to play with it more. Will make a decision on Saturday whether or not to order.

The 20% off show special is pretty sweet!

What’s a guy gotta do to get in this place? I’ve yet to figure out how to purchase tickets to this event! Can someone help a feller out?

I’m already a member, but it wants to sell another membership I guess lol!

Keep it coming @rhinehart0050, great photos!

I had the same issues. It kept wanting to sell me another membership when I’m already a member. I just called the number for customer service to see about the problem and she sold me tickets over the phone.

this one I think

Day 2 saw the convention hall noticeably busier, ramping up to the weekend. We finished the second third, rows 1000-2100.

Had lots of conversations about bongo, target 2025!

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
