Scheiring Rifles

So I was rewatching “Buffalo Fever II” the other day. Herbert Scheiring and Frans Oettingen-Spielberg were the hunters and they were guided by Paddy Curtis(?) and Stephan Stamm in the Selous. They were hunting with Scheiring rifles. Long story short, here are some interesting videos/links. Some of the rifles are WAY over the top IMO but I can appreciate the work that went into them. Just wish I spoke/read German..

you can find not really much information about Scheiring online. There is a site on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/jagdundnaturtv
where you can find some videos about the company. But they are in German. The double in the video is chambered in .425 Scheiring and Franz Oett-Spielberg is using a .470 NE I think. They are famous for their accuracy. And they are very accurate. I do have 2 Scheiring rifles. One Over and Under Rifle „Bergstutzen“ in 7mm Remington Mag. and 5,6x50 R. And one Single Shot „Kipplaufbuechse“ in .300
Pegasus with a second barrel in .243 Win. I do know a littlebit about the company and if you have questions? I do speak German also.

He was murdered last year in Zim. The Buffalo Fever video was uploaded to YouTube a year ago. I don’t know when it was shot but I’m pretty sure I’ve had it recorded well over a year now.

Hello. Can I ask? I really love the sheiring rifles
but on their web site there isnt much about them. So can I ask how much is the .300 single shot with the spare barrel? Thanks for the reply
