I know nothing about a savage 440b…
But I do love a 20ga with 26” barrels.. my 20 ga is a Webley & Scott with 26” tubes… it is perfectly balanced, and swings like a dream for a lightweight gun… I just took it out on the 1st and 2nd for dove opening here in TX and hammered them… it’s my favorite bird gun by far…

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell.
