RSA, Vic Falls, Kruger itinerary questions

I have friend couple departing on a mission trip to Mokopane, Limpopo South Africa for a week next October. Afterwards they want to do an animal viewing safari and take in Vic Falls. They don't want to rent a car and it's about three hours to Kruger from Mokopane and they have a ride back to Joburg. I suggested to do that then fly to Kruger, then Vic Falls or vice versa then back to Joburg for the states. Does this sound like a good plan or would there be a better way? TIA
