We tried hunting the springbok with the bow with walk and stalk getting to 38 yards the client was not comfortable with the shot. So we pushed forward to try and get to 30yrds. Well we got busted and as it was the last evening he opted for the rifle as he really wanted a springbok. After a great stalk we got him at 60m

28.5 Inch Blue Wildebeest Bow hunt

Here is a short video of a very nice bull we hunted on our main concession, you will see as the hunter released the arrow a cow in the background moved in behind the bull. We were fortunate that she was not injured at all and in the end it all came together and the hunter has a magnificent trophy wildebeest.

Still remember that trigger squeeze like it was yesterday ....

Hunting Sable, on the second day of hunting for a big Sable bull everything came together and this bull gave us enough time to make a successful shot

Buffalo Hunting in South Africa

After finding a group of buffalo bulls we had our sights set on the big bull laying in the shade, after what feeled like forever the herd busted us and the bull stood up and presented a perfect broad side shot!!! @Mark Biggerstaff made a perfect shot and the bull expired 20-30 yards further

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
