Where did to you find qatar business tickets for so cheap? When I price them out they're like $3k to JNB or WAY more than that to WDH

A lot of the pricing has to do with the city from which you depart the US. Boston for instance is always more. That is why I use Dawn at Destinations travel. She will pull up all rates, find the cheapest departure point that you can easily fly to, and can use points(yours or hers you can buy) to get you best deal. I am sure other agents can do this too. She charges a slight fee( which is negligible) since airlines no longer comp the agents, but handles gun permits, changes, etc and is very thorough to check prior to booking that my itinerary work with me for trip. She also suggest the best days to travel because a day or two difference in departing can mean as much as a grand difference. I can justify this with a stay at a guest house or BNB which cost much less and lets me recharge my battery. I often find the outfitters are flexible with arrival/departure dates so I usually check flights prior to finalizing my arrival and departure. Hope this helps.

On my last layover in Jo'burg, I paid a fee to enter a lounge, like $33 as I recall, but I can't remember the name of it. Looking online, none of the ones I find resemble the lounge I went to.
Any recommendations for the wife and I? We have a five hour layover.

I’m following this thread closely as I’m flying Qatar on August 15th with layover in Doha in route to Windhoek on August 17th. Hopefully this whole coronavirus pandemic will be under control by then....
