Is True Velocity Polymer-Cased .308 Winchester 168 Grain Sierra MatchKing Centerfire Rifle Ammo legal for hunting in South Africa?

Here's a bump for you.

As to using them in Africa I would guess that they should be legal since it is the bullet that does the job of killing a animal.

However if they inspect your ammo you may get some questions and have to do some long explanations. In two trips no one has ever asked to see my ammo and only one time was it even weighed, with my ammo box never being opened.

You might send a email off to Henry at Rifle Permits .com and see what he says. If there is a problem with them coming into South Africa he may of been on hand to check them out.
