Like this guy?

I had to look him up. What an absolute pu$$y.

I saw this on a Quora thread about him. Sums it up pretty well, I think.

"If he ever even had a man card he surely lost it by publishing this steaming pile of bovine droppings. And he should never get it back either."

I like guns and and have been happy one was near by at times. Saying that not everyone has to likes guns nor do they have to. I dont mind that at all. To me this is a peice to control and influence those that have never shot an AR15 or other firearm. Yes guns make noise and yes they can ne concerning to those unfamiliar with them. This can be said about most things. People should form thier opinion and not listen to such idiots.IMHO

I see in the news today Trump says he "loves inflation." Wow! And you guys actually believe he has a real degree in economics? The doctors at Walter Reed claim he was able to identify a camel from a bird when he was recently tested. Someone must have helped him. :D

Are you other guys also loving inflation? The seven dollar a pound hamburger is so pleasing, eh? :D

As lots of americans are in debt the inflation will actually helps to eat part of the debt. Inflation isn`t always bad. On the other hand those who have a huge pension will experience their purchase power from their saving are becomming weaker.

In generel one cannot suspect DT for creating a long term masterplans. His administration is merely an ad Hoc administration. DT can claim all the degrees in the world but he still acts as an encyclopedia of stupidity with new expanded editions published every month.

Dave West, you beat me to this task :)

The subject Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant (Gunny) served at least 20 years indicated by the five Hash Marks, each for four years of enlisted service.

The five rows of ribbons represent medals received displayed in the lower center. Some ribbons are independent without medals such as the Combat Action Ribbon and Presidential and Unit Citations.

The ribbons being most complete and visible, lets start there from top and left.

1st (Top) Row: Navy Commendation Medal, awarded for something or a period of somethings performed way above and beyond their normal duties.

2nd Row from Top
  • Other service or foreign award, junior to Navy Comm and Senior to Navy Achievement Medal
  • Navy Achievement Medal, three awards, with at least one award with V device for Valor.
  • Combat Action Ribbon, two awards
  • Joint Merit Unit Award (Joint service operation would explain the first ribbon in this row
3rd Row from Top
  • Navy Unit Citation, three awards
  • Meritorious Unit Citation, four awards
  • Good Conduct Ribbon, seven awards (ribbon + silver star for five awards, plus bronze star for one award
  • National Defense Ribbon, two awards
4th Row from Top
  • Armed Forces Expeditionary Ribbon, three awards
  • Southwest Asia Service
  • Afghanistan Campaign
  • Iraq Campaign
5th Row from Top
  • GWOT Expeditionary
  • GWOT Service
  • Humanitarian Service
  • Military Outstanding Volunteer Service
6th Row from Top
  • Sea Service Deployment
  • Unite Nations ?
  • Kuwait Liberation Saudi Arabia
  • Kuwait Liberation
The patches include those from Marine Air Control Squadron One and Four (air defense units), Marine Corps Communications and Electronics Schools (electronic systems technician and operations training to include systems deployed by MACS units), Aviation Units, and 1st Battalion 7th Marine Regiment.

The Scuba Qualification Badge is from gosh knows where. This Marine has been around!!

If the ribbons and medals cards in a game, the V device for Valor trumps everything else!
I wonder if the Gunny was once with a SURC (small unit riverine craft) unit within 1st or 2nd FSSG? About a year after “just cause” we had one of those new units down with us training with the SBU guys at the naval station.

A few had their scuba bubbles. I think maybe they had to eventually complete scuba school to stay in the unit? But I don’t know for certain. They were the only guys in combat arms that wore it but weren’t “dual cool”

Sadly, I think we have to DOGE the disability system, strip all veterans of benefits, and force them to reapply using prudent criteria. The fraud is just too big at present and the super-majority of payments are fraudulent.
Maybe we should strip all people who never served our country in any capacity during our nation's longest war the right to an opinion on this matter. Lots of cowards got filthy rich in corporate America off the backs of those dirty "enlisted" during the war. I saw "enlisted" in your comment, why not officer?

Actually, I like the idea from Robert Heinlein’s “Starship Troopers “, if you don’t serve, then you can’t vote or be elected into office.

Sadly, this has become a stereotypical theme as of recently. I feel like a jerk poking at our enlisted, but they are absolutely f-ing the taxpayer.

There is a podcast that is quite popular called "Financial Audit" with Caleb Hammer. The show is about the most outrageously irresponsible people trying to fix their chaotic finances. 100% of the time if the guest was enlisted, they are milking the government for FULL disability. Not a single one of them had any obvious physical ailment.

I will gladly allow for a fraction of those people having real disability whether mental or physical, but it appears we have created a cottage industry of fraud within the military disability system.

I know a lot of fully disabled veterans up here and its really quite sad. They weren't lifers, they did their 4-6 years as non-com, then milked the system, and now they are doing nothing with their lives because they don't want to get caught doing meaningful work that would prove they did not have a disability. Trying to better themselves would result in loss of benefits, so we are losing a major potential contributor to the US economy all to continue defrauding the military's generous disability benefits.

Your arrogance and “expertise” on things you have zero knowledge or experience never ceases to amaze me. However, with those comments you removed any and all doubts I may have had that you are not a complete and total tool.

The unsubscribed pod cast did a piece where Caleb hammer came up based on what they said he cherry picks the worst representation of veterans and then paints them in a poor light. Disclaimer I’ve never seen one of hammers pod casts but I do follow the fat electrician and he seems to go out of his way to speak the truth and have the facts to back it up so I would tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.

And here I thought I'd never agree with your posts, but here we are. You are mostly correct...I see a lot of talk about waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal gov on here, but never any mention of the VA or DOD. I'm also a fan of Financial Audit, although I think Caleb is intentionally milking the outrage sometimes for ratings.

Here's one of my favorite ones, 80% disabled...from cooking!

Is there abuse in every program I am aware of? Yes. Can other things be uncomfortable because the regulation is a bit too broad? Yes. We do not need to bin some bad apples into an epidemic. Please do not lecture me on an audit of DOD. I have worked in the defense space for the last 31 years and accounted for every single cent and welcomed annual audits. Do we have "Un-Forecasted Requests"? Yes. In the annual budget did we account for Venezuela? Iran? Probably not.

Reminder for all you podcast listeners.....The make money off being sensational.

I guess no first amendment and freedom of speech then? Feels like that is kinda central to the whole American experience...No?
You truly are looking for a fight most every post on this forum. People like you love throwing a bit of internet wisdom out there hoping to generate drama. Yes you can say what you want. Just know the 1st amendment does not protect you from looking stupid.

I mean just because you can pass an audit, doesn't mean everyone can.

Hello,
I might be able to help you out depending on how many you need. I could probably spare 50-75 .285g A-Frames. They are factory pulls that look like new. Let me know if you are still looking,
Thanks,
Gary
