Pat is said to be still alive and to have gone to Montana after his time in Mweka and to have published an unpublished novella by his father (True the First Light) in 1999.
But since then ?
Does anyone know anything more ?

A German hunting newspaper would like to publish an interview with him and about him.
Could someone here open a way for us to do so?
Gladly by pm
I vouch for the seriousness of the editor and the magazine.

His grandson Patrick Hemingway Adams writes for Field Ethos journal co-owned by Don Trump Jr.
Here's a link to some of his writing's, I've talked to him via Instagram a few times and that is probably an easy way to get in contact.
He's currently in Africa chasing buffalo with a Krieghoff 500ne.

I'm happy to connect you with his grandson Pat. I also write for Field Ethos alongside him.

I’ve met him a few times and he’s super cool and actually kinda shy at first. It’s great seeing the different writing styles both of you have.

You should keep doing your book recommendations. It might even be a cool thread to start on here. I’d previously read a few of your choices, and grabbed a few of the others you’ve recommend and they’ve all been great. I’m debating saving Three Sips of Gin for the flight over this summer.

Fascinating! I read Islands In The Stream. It's a fiction about those days of searching for German U-boat is the Stream. Also made into movie starring George C Scott.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.
