Looking at these Rusan QR rings for a CZ 550 in 416 Rigby. They look as stout as anything from Warne, and without the vertical split ring design.

Another ring design I'm considering for a CZ550 in 30-06 is this one from MAKipp, a brand I'm not familiar with. The rifle has no factory sights, so no need for a QR system.

Should be good!

Recently came across this website while looking for CZ and Tikka rings and bases.

The website looks legit, but I'm curious if any of our members in Europe have dealt with them.

They also sell brands that aren't available in the U.S., and I'm curious if they get the or thumbs down .
Rusan
Makkip
Recknagel
They are 200 km (300 miles) from my place. Slovenia.
I visited the shop personally, few times. This is because if I want a scope, I want to compare brands and models of same value, firsthand and choose the best. I think regionally he has the biggest permanent stock of optics gear in watrehouse.
Theodor is hunter and target shooter. He knows his business, and can provide very good advice that comes from experience from both worlds.

When I am in doubt, I also sometimes drop them email, and ask. They reply immediately.
So, yes, they are legit and above average. Can be recommended.

You mentioned Rusan.
He was 30 years ago small gunsmith with his workshop. With years he developed steadily, and by now he is one of the first choices in Croatia, employs number of people in production line, and is one of the biggest gunsmithing and back market producers in the country and in the region.

BTW optics trade is in Slovenia, and Rusan is in Croatia.

So, Rusan started with specializing in back market products for CZ and for Zastava rifles, later he developed more products, clip on system, picatinny attachments, triggers, etc.
Has very good trigger engineered with influence of Timney design. He is less known brand in Europe when compared to AEW, but quality is the same. I have several of his products, which work perfectly. One of which is his German swing mounts for ZKK rifle which I installed on my DG gun. Hold zero perfectly. I have another set of rings on 9.3, which hold zero after removing - perfectly as well. A friends rifle (which I know well) uses his clip on for thermal, no issue with it as well.

I use these on 9,3x62, for 15 years - no issue.

This is what I was hoping for. With all the scam websites and junk from Asia, I was wary of buying.from them, but now they might become my go-to for CZ and Tikka mounts.

This is a quick release ring and base system from INNOmount that looked like a good option for a rifle like a 375 H&H where different scopes could be mounted depending on the species or terrain. Pricey at over $300. My main worry would be loading and ejection issues.

I have a Russian quick detach for a Leica Red Dot and weaver base that I ordered from them, very well made, those QD rings look nice

Recknagel

Very legit. The best modern mounts are the Recknagel pivot mounts. They are about $100 less expensive there than Stateside and they have a thousand times the inventory options.

I would disagree that they are the best, but agree that Optics trade is the place to buy them.

There are thousands of options, and to say one is the best is kind of narrow.

Recknagel pivot mounts are crazy complicated and they can be strong, but they are not necessary or the best for most rifle options.

I have them on a 300 Winchester and a 416 Remington. They both came that way. I am not going to swap them out as they work, but they aren't the best for either one of those rifles. A M70 and a Sako 75.

The advantage to the Recknagel and EAW types is that you can get a flawless height that is completely proper, rather than L-M-H options.

Whatever you buy, get a QD design. Nothing good happens when you transport rifles with scopes attached.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
