Don't know if anyone else has posted this yet.
Just back from a safari with Adam Clements Safari Trackers in the Moyowosi and I wanted to let anyone interested know about the new visa and visa requirements. Last year I went on safari with Kilombero North and the e-visa process was simple, not so this year.
Please give yourself 2 to 3 weeks to complete the on-line questionnaire and have TZ immigration get back to you. The form is much longer with a couple of uploads you must do now and only the multiple entry visa at $100 is available to American citizens. I didn't get mine back until the day before I flew which caused a bit of consternation so don't delay the process.
I flew Turkish Air and arrived at the airport in Dar at 2:30am thinking I would get through quickly... not so. A number of flights had gotten in and the airport was packed. All immigration lines were long. And woe to those who had to apply for a visa upon arrival and then go through immigration, the queue was horrendous!
A word to the wise... and well traveled. E-visa and do it early!
