May have been posted already, but I just read of this. RIP Thomas McIntyre

Yes, I saw that as well. I was sorry to hear it. He was one of my favorite outdoor writers. He had a much deeper.mind than most. Every time one of the good ones pass it feels like losing an old friend.

Young too, just a bit more than a year older than me.

A great outdoor writer! RIP Thomas McIntyre

David Petzal did a write up a little while back as well in Field & Stream.

He will be missed. An interesting man and that’s one of the best compliments a man can achieve.

Have lots of his work in my bookcase-seemed like a down to earth kind of guy I would have liked to share camp with-

Tom was a great writer. I am sorry he has gone on.

Looking forward to the publication of his new book.

I well remember reading his series of articles on his African Safari, also titled "Dreaming the Lion". I still recall that as some of the greatest magazine reading ever. I just ordered his book of the same title.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
