Has anyone had any experience with MAK pivot mounts at all. I am looking at a two piece pivot mount for a double, but being a pivot mount they need to be made properly to achieve repeatable results.
Does anyone know anything about MAK mounts and if they are made well, or just a cheaper option?

I have one MAK mount that fits the Recknagel type pivot mount hole in the rib of my Merkel double rifle. It holds a Docter / Noblex optic red dot reflex sight. The mount seems well built, fit and finish are good, repeatability and precision are good. I'm happy with it.

I had MaKlassic pivot mounts installed on my CZ 550 300 WSM and am happy with them. They look well built. On my other rifles, Mauser K98 actions and Sauer 80 I had Ziegler claw mounts installed, but Ziegler doesn't make them for the CZ 550.

Very high quality in my experience, in the same class of EAW, very similar to them also

Good to see all the positive replies.
I ended up ordering a Rechnagel one piece, with Zeiss rail.
The only reason I chose the Rechnagel over the MAK, was because my gunsmith had fitted both many times, and he preferred the Rechnagel.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
