Hi guys i`m trying to track down a left handed 416, prefer Rem mag but not to fussy. Retiring the old Brno 375 that has been a fine rifle but shes had her day and really need a little more punch backing up on these big Water Buffalo. If I need to take a follow up shot it`s usually on a bull full speed away or towards us through trees so a little more weight when it comes to scrub cutting would be handy. And the more basic rifle the better, I would spend to much time protecting a fancy rifle.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Jim.

Well, if you were in the US I'd offer my LH .416 Rem mag shown below (Brown Precision built on a Win Model 70 action). Picked this up as a back up when my first double started letting me down. Took my first ele with it, but then found a LH Heym double and have used it since. This one is collecting dust now. 22" barrel, iron sites, aim point red dot, 10.5 lbs, sub-MOA with Federal 400 grain TSX or Banded Soilds. Not sure how the firearm rules work in New Zealand ....

Nice rifle Shakey!

I've been meaning to take some good pictures of my lefties and start a thread. Need to do that.

Since posting pics on PMs seems to be difficult, here are a few more photos ....

Royal,
You can call the thread:
PICTURES OF BOLTS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE GUN! LOL
All of the guys chipped in and we gave my Boss a 300 Win Mag Tikka for Christmas. It was my first serious attempt at buying a left hand gun. I feel for you guys, there just isn't a lot out there to choose from.
Cheers,
Cody

It is tough!!!

Not much selection, hard to find, and some like to charge more. Although I did get a deal on my .458 Lott. There aren't a whole lot of lefties interested in that caliber I guess.

I'm also shopping for a larger bore lefty bolt. CZ just quoted me app 4600 for a lefty 404 Jeff at the DSC show. Dakota in same was 8800. The CZ price struck me as high for what amounts to re barreling a production lefty 375 and doing some mag box reworking. That price did not include deluxe wood which they stated they could not provide on lefty custom shop rifles for some weird reason.....leading me to believe what I said above, that they must be doing a rework of production rifles with std grade wood....I'm going to talk to Montana and a couple of others before I make a decision.

Nothing against Cz but they will rape you if you're a lefty in anything above 375.

hi Jim,

would you have any interest in a left handed .470 Capstick Pre-64 model 70 action? rifle is like new and beautiful...I'm second owner and first owner unfortunately never got to shoot it. I've only got about 30 rounds through it with load development which is all done thankfully :)

I also have no idea how difficult it is to ship from the US to NZ but if it can be done I'm more than happy to jump through the required hoops.

If it cannot be sold overseas, I would definitely be interested in it. I sent you a message.

Good luck with the search, I've learned how hard it is to find the lefty stuff in bigger calibers

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
