Hello going back to RSA for a buffalo hunt in August. Does any one have an experience in extending a layover in Doha for a day or two?
Any issues with firearms transport & storage in Doha? Don't want to add undue logistics stress but want to take my own rifle this time.
Any insight or experience with this would be helpful.

I connected through there with a firearm. Spent a night in the sleeping rooms in the Qatar lounge on the way back. Smooth and easy but I didn’t leave the airport. I looked into spending a day but never could figure out how to handle the gun if I did.

I checked through there to Zimbabwe with my gun and had a 9ish hour layover. Stayed in a sleep pod. I will get a hotel room if I go back that way. I wouldn’t try to leave the airport, especially for just a day, with a firearm.

Doha is a very nice city… [emoji637] day is in my opinion all the time you need to see everything worth seeing though..

Do a dune safari for lunch, a dhow cruise at night for dinner, and check out a few sights in the city in between and you’ve seen it all..

There are some very nice hotels, great restaurants, and good shopping all over the city..

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
