Post 1972 pre 1981. From 1981 onwards, these rifles started getting built in the USA and the magazine base plate release catch started getting located OUTSIDE the trigger bow (like a Winchester Model 70 or BRO ZKK602).

Mine is from 1984 and still has the release inside the trigger bow. And I dont know about this rifle, but mine has a second recoil lug bedded forward of the receiver in the barrel channel.
