I got engaged last weekend—my second, her first.

Here’s my question. First time around I hated how my ring makes up gunstocks or had to be taken off all the time. I see a lot of gutted with these rubber wedding rings that look cheesy. Anyone know of a ring that looks decent that might be a somewhat softer material?

I thought wedding rings always came off when you went on a hunting trip? I’ve never seen one stay on.. As to your real question try a shooting glove.

Congrats on the engagement!

I wear a [emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]mm saferingz in gun metal color. It’s at a “I’m not even sure I’m wearing a ring” comfort level, and lasts me a few years before I replace it (my activity level is pretty high).

I’m not sure of its cheesy looking score- but I have been pretty happy with it.

Maybe the ones I’ve seen were lousy versions. The saferingz look better.

I like my tat ring, but they do need to be touched up once in a while, I'm about due.

My regular ring is titanium, but anything I do where there's a risk of a finger degloving, it comes off.

I wear the same
When I am working around the farm or
Playing with guns. My Alaska gold nugget ring is more a Sunday go to meeting kinda thing.

I only wore mine for six months before I had a near degloving experience. I’ve now been married 33 years. The lack of me wearing a ring has not changed anything in my marriage commitment.

Congratulations and I wish you a lifetime of fulfillment and fun! My advice (which has nothing to do with the question in your post): "Offer nothing less than what you expect; and, accept nothing less than you deserve."

The title of this thread just caught my attention as a former divorce lawyer, but I don't have any valuable recommendations on the ring question.

I wore my ring for about a year, maybe less, and that was that. I didn't like it anyway. 24 years this year - all good.

Other than those silicon rings I have not seen anything soft though? What i have seen is guys transition to a soft ring, then it breaks or they lose it, and ...

I’ve got 3 rings… which I wear depends on the situation…

A tungsten band is my “daily wear” wedding ring… I’m hard on jewelry so I wanted something that doesn’t mar, bend, twist, or break like gold can…

A silicon band… mostly for “outdoors” activities… hunting, swinging a chainsaw, working out at the gym, etc all get the silicon band…

A tattoo… hidden by either the tungsten or silicon band whenever one of them is worn.. but present any time they aren’t… put on me (and the Mrs) by a noticibly drunk French Polynesian on Morea, who spent more time chasing his chickens out of the tattoo room (his den) than he spent actually putting the tattoos on us… but.. that’s another story… lol… :D

You could always cut off your ring finger like I did.
I catch hell, but I got my ring finger cut off & sown back on years ago ( 53 ) and have a piece of hard scar tissue, so it’s a rubber ring from Walmart or nothing
When a caught my marlin grand slam wife bought me a ring with every marlin with a gem stone eye ( I.E white = diamond, blue Sapphire , black ruby , striped emerald) , to incentivize me to wear one
Beautiful piece of jewelry, very classy, but painful, we sold it and bought her a diamond ring guard, it’s a married thing , so I should have kept it and bought a nice chain to hang it on my neck ( food for thought;) )
Here is a cruddy picture of my scar

When shooting, apply electrical tape around the ring.
That said, I never had a problem with my ring.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
