Is there an industry standard for regulation loads in double rifles or does each manufacturer choose their own? If there is an industry standard what is the standard for .470 NE? If each manufacturer chooses their own, what is Krieghoff's regulation load for their Classic Big Five in .470 NE? Thanks in advance!!

Nope. The quality builders will regulate to the bullet and range you request when you order a bespoke rifle (H&H, WR, Rigby, etc). Some will offer that as an option at additional cost - Krieghoff. Everyone else - not so much. Most now do 50 meters rather than seventy because it is easier, quicker, and cheaper.

In fairness, I rifle that regulates at 50 likely has a load that it likes at 70 or 100. All of mine but one regulate at 100 with something.

My Big Five in 470NE was regulated by Krieghoff with Norma ammo which I believe is their standard practise. When I visited their factory to order my rifle I shot a 470 that was also regulated with Norma but for the 500NE that I shot they used A-Square ammo or at least brass. I was asked if I was happy with Norma for regulation and since I was that’s what they did. I’m not aware of any other European made NE ammo and I suppose this is the easiest thing for them to obtain. Also my rifle came with regulation targets which mention the ammo details. Perhaps you’ll receive these as well.

I believe most ammunition manufactures. Such as Federal and Hornady strive to keep their bullet weight and fps. as close to the old Kynoch specs, unfortunately sometimes it just does not work out.

I sold a Manton .470 to another Zimbabwe PH. I asked him if he wanted to see how it regulated (it regulated perfect with Federal Premium) his answer was he did not care how it regulated since at the distance he shoots it did not make any difference. Knowing him, it is not bragging just fact!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
