Hurricane Harvey and me

SGT. ZIM: Are you still looking for a rifle range in the Houston area? I lived in NE Houston from 2009-12 and would go to Carter's Country (http://www.carterscountry.net/Sound Of Freedom.htm) on Treschwig Rd, just north of IAH. It's a well run and very nice outdoor range, but busy. They charge by the number of firearms, not time. I also shot a few times at a place called Thunder Range (http://www.thundergunrange.com/ ) on 1314, just east of The Woodlands. Not the best range I've been too, but they have 100 and 200 yard ranges. Neither of these are near Sugarland, but that's Houston for you. Heck, it's a long ways just to cross the street.

Looking for a bit longer range practice than Carter's. Just heard today that American Shooting Centers is back open. Have a campout with my stepson this weekend, so I'll probably go shooting again on the 28th. Eager to try out my new chrony and see what I'm getting out of my 6.5x55 and my 45-70.

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
