How many here have Double Rifles with Sling Studs?

On the 2 I had built, I requested them on the one I didn't have built, it already had them. I think I've used a sling one time and that was with on the first one I had built. I have not used a sling on the others, but would rather have and not need than to need and not have. The same with most of my rifles.

All of my rifles both Bolt action and Doubles have slings. I have never been comfortable carrying my rifle on the shoulder as my concern for overall safety is always on my mind. My PH's may carry on the shoulder but that's in front of me. I won't allow anyone to carry a rifle on their shoulder behind me.

Just my 2 cents.

My 1907-vintage Jeffery came with sling studs installed. However, a previous owner had replaced the buttstock and apparently replaced the studs at that time. It now wears modern sized studs (smaller holes than the originals).

Whoever performed the work did an excellent job on the buttstock. It retains what appears to be the original forend.

Are there pictures?

Thanks Gents...I have them on all my rifles and a few shotguns too...Was thinking of doing them on my Vickers 12ga 3" Slug Gun (23" barrels) aka Poor man's .729 Express[emoji6][emoji38]

They're nothing remarkable, just commonly available modern sling studs. But here you go.

Correction to my previous post: mine is of 1908 vintage.
