A young friend of mine is considered selling his 375 H&H. Winchester Custom shop. He was thinking of a giveaway price IMO. Told him to hold off, let me check with the “experts”. Not your standard Mdl 70, so I don’t know if that’s good or bad. What say ye?

Not the best pics, but all he had on his phone

It would be nice to have more info on what custom work was done and howhis rifle differs from the origial Winchester Model 70's.

I have no idea what it’s worth but I may be interested in the give-it-away price!

Looks like a classic stainless. What custom work was done? Just a ballpark with limited info I’d say $1,700-$1,900

Apparently Winchester Custom Shop built rifles with various options. Will have to see if he can get a Custom Shop letter. I do see metal grip cap and inletting sling swivels. Not sure about any mechanical upgrades.

There is a similar rifle listed on gunbroker. Current bid is $1631 with over a week to go on the auction. The one you have is nicer in my opinion.

I think you could easily get $2000 without the scope. They don’t make the stainless 375 any longer and it is fairly desirable. Can’t tell what scope it is from the photos or what that adds.

Scope is a Leupold vxII in 2x7 gloss. Would come with the rifle

That is a lovely combination. Does your friend have the custom shop documentation as that would up its value. In today's world I would think anything under $2400-2500 would be a very nice purchase.

I think he did at one time. He will try to find it

Holy smokes! I was way off on the classic stainless on gunbroker - it brought $2700

I saw that. Passed it on to my buddy

I'll take the Vortex scope cover you have listed in the Pay it Forward thread.
