Hello from the communist state of Illinois!

Welcome aboard!

As a recovering refugee that was stranded in Illinois for a few decades, I encourage you to run as fast as you can at any financial cost required.

When I left, I put these on my FB page. It’s funny, but it’s true.

Thank you. I'm in the "bringing up hunting in Africa" phase, with my wife.... slow and steady, haha

Africa is amazing. We have a saying when you go home: “you may leave Africa, but Africa never leaves you”. I’ve been back a dozen times.

For husband / wife plus tourism on a hunt, I encourage you to research Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. It’s probably the best destination for a couple with the trip being partially hunting, partially tourism.

Happy researching for your first trip!

That's a great idea. We have an 11 year old that loves to travel with us, so maybe in a couple more years, after he gets a white tail under his belt, he can be my hunting partner. Thanks for the info.

Ha! Hey everyone, checking in from IL. I have been interested in hunting Africa since the early 90s, when I was supposed to go on one and then the trip was cancelled. I hear the night hunts are crazy. I actually stumbled here looking for anyone that may be in the market for NOS of .460 Weatherby Magnum ammo. If anyone knows of anyone, great. If not, that’s great too. I will be checking out the forum. Thanks for having me!
Please private message me for I too and from the communist state of Chicago and I would love to talk to you and give you some insight on hunting Africa
Would love to be of service
Aaron

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
