Hard Recoil Pad?

Hi I'm a custom stock maker in Australia and after many years of trial and error I found that the kick ezz recoil pads are the way to go. In the very hot and humid conditions in the Northern Territory in Australia and the very hot and humid conditions in Africa the kick ezz recoil pads do not suffer hydrosis as they are made from sorbothane not rubber. As you well know decelerator pads break down and go hard after some time kick ezz pads don't I have them on all my rifles and after 15yrs haven't had any drama's. You can get them in 1 3/8" in black magnum pad, and in std pads they are varied from 12mm-28mm in black, brown, orange and red. Just my 2 cents and knowledge
Fifteen years? This is a Pachmayer recoil pad I mounted on the 404 Jeffery rifle I built last summer. I first bought one of their classic "Old English" pads but it didn't work out. In a pinch for time before my trip to Africa, I dug into my junk and found a broken walnut stock from my 870 shotgun that I replaced with factory plastic. Pulled the pad off it and ground it down to fit the Mauser stock. The broken stock replaced factory Remington wood that also broke ... sometime in the early 1980s. That pad has been used very hard but still looks and feels good as new. Not hard and nothing collapsed. Mind you I typically store my shotguns muzzle down.

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
