Some great trophies taken from the spring and summer hunts throughout Bavaria and other locations.

Now that the fall rut is in full swing the Red Deer will be singing in the forests!

Nice stags, I really like the mouflon. I am trying to arrange a hunt for Mouflon in Hawaii for next year. My wife says that I try to turn every vacation into a hunting or fishing trip. I say why would you go on a vacation without hunting or fishing?

I used to live on the island of Oahu, where are you planning a mouflon hunt to? The Parker ranch on the big island had a huge number of species, some exotic and some domestic. I took and “island slam” with them courtesy of the wife. I’ve also read about some pretty good exotics hunting on Molokai, I think it was for fallow deer or maybe axis bucks. Never rule out the islands they have a wealth of hunting and the information is a little hard to come by. Let me know if you need any contact info, I’ve still got a few email addresses for some outfitters on the islands. Best of luck!

The Red Deer stags are roaring in the hills of Bavaria! This is my favorite time of the year, it's shirt sleeve weather, the sun is shining and all of the stags have squared off for the attention of the ladies. We were seeing 8-15 stags together in bachelor herds, now they're all squiring around their harems. Nothing acts bolder than a big Red Stag who thinks you might be trying to steal one of his girls.

These photos were taken over this past weekend. The camera is a Canon digital with a standard lense, not telephoto, as you can see some of these guys come right up to check you out.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
