Africa looks like a great adventure. Here is a whitetail I killed this year in Texas. And a Blackbuck we took on my buddies Bachelor party hunt.

Drowned Kudu Bull

I shot this Kudu bull in Albertinia. It was the first hunt that I took my younger brother on. Waitinf behind a bush for two and a half hours for the kudu to stand up and come in range taught my brother what patience is needed for walk and stalk bowhunting. I shot the kudu at a range of 45 meters. It ended up in a dam below where i shot it and i hade to swim in to retrieve it. I think it was too ashamed to be outsmarted by an man with a bow and arrow so it drowend itself. :D

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to share out memories. Now they will not only be alive in our own minds but in the minds of others too.

I Looove Africa :)

I think that Africa is the greatest country in the world. The whole atmosphere, when you are hunting, is undescribable.... You have to try it to know what I am talking about. Here is a picture showing the relaxed atmosphere, and a picture showing how great hunting can be (I had to go to Namibia 3 times to get my Mountain Zebra, but I didn´t mind at all :))

My son's first African animal from June 2010. He's was 7 at the time

I'm a technological dolt so I hope I attached this picture correctly. Anyway, my son and I hunted Limpopo province of South Africa last June. This was his first African safari but certainly not his last. Although he was seven at the time, he hunted like a pro--he took this zebra the first morning, and later took a warthog and a steenbuck. His wildebeast managed to get away.

Would love to come and join you for this hunting opportunity. Thanks Mike

Northern BC Stone Sheep

This was my second hunt for my Stone Sheep and a very hard earned trophy. The first hunt was an 11 days and I was unsucessful in taking a ram but very few hunts are unsuccessful even without taking a trophy. Just being out in nature makes every outing a success. The second hunt lasted 4 days and I took a very nice 10 year old ram.

Double Firsts!

August 2010 was my first time to hunt Africa, and the first time to use my Matthew's bow...now I have a great Reezen to return. This Kalahari Impala is not only my first African animal, but my first animal taken with a bow.

Here are the best pictures from our recent Cameroon Adventure with Mayo Oldiri Safaris. John McLaurin and I had a great time. John took a wide selection of animals with many of them ranking SCI Gold. Mike Currie was an excellent PH and the trackers were awesome. The selection of game was impressive and we had a great adventure.

This was my first adventure to Cameroon!!!

Kevin

Sure would like to read a full hunting report, and have the animals listed (What they are?), but it looks like you had a great time, Congradulations!

Just to let everyone know, this contest by Hartzview Hunting Safaris will be closing tonight at midnight Pacific Standard Time, March 16th, 2011. If you have not yet entered your pictures, now would be the time...

Grouse hunting in Sweden

The first grouse for my young german pointer in the swedish mountains. True happiness for me and top concentration in the eyes of my dog as her hunting genes come alive :D

Red stag in Scotland

Me and my brother went to Scotland to experience the famous red stag rut in the Highlands. The hunt was demanding and the sceneries make's you want to go back.

I like the serious look in the eyes of the hunter after a succesful hunt. To me it reflects the excitement of the hunt and honours the game.

The small "pet" in the small and cosy hunting lodge gave us a happy welcome every day;)

This is my trophy out of a 10 day hunt, I finally shot him on the 9th day. He squared at 10' 2" and estimated weight was over 1100 pds. Snow shoed for hours a day, Crossed & fell in frozen river. Freezing temperatures and a little tent with no heat. Most challenging hunt I have ever been on!

Hunting under African Skies - always an adventure and a life-long memory.
After an early morning sitting in a camelthorn-tree, a challenging walk and stalk during late morning and early afternoon I could finally harvest at late afternoon my first Kudu Bull in Namibia with a 32 yards double lung complete pass through shot.
What an experience and remembrance of a lifetime. Thanks to Gustav and Rudy and their families for the hospitality, guidance and a great time.

Good things come to those who wait.
The year before I spotted one morning a nice Duiker and had the chance to shoot him but did not want it at that time for some reason. That year it was the one and only chance he gave me. One year later, second day to last I was sitting in an old Jacaranda tree when all of a sudden he strolled out of the bush. Bad luck for him - Good luck for me. At 22 yards the arrow hit him yard and the flight was over after roughly 45 yards.

I have no idea the shipping cost from here to Costa Rica. I can do my research on shipping and get back with you later today.
StickFlicker AZ wrote on Matt 72's profile.
I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
